The Warwick Early Intervention site has a brand new playground! The original playground was built over twenty years ago with the construction of our current facility. Although the equipment needed to be replaced, budget constraints prevented us from making such a large purchase. So for the first time in our history, we reached out to Early Intervention families – those whose children were once involved with our program as well as current families.
Donations began to arrive, and with additional corporate and community foundation support, our new playground became a reality. It features a seamless soft surface; climbing structure with slide; playhouse, complete with gas station and basketball hoop; large ‘fish’ crawl tube and sandbox. Playground time can once again be incorporated into our playgroup curriculum. Summer is here, and we look forward to our kids having fun while learning in the fresh air on our new playground.
