Incident management team is a town meeting style forum where, 2 times per week, the incident management team reviews critical incidents that have occurred during the days intervening since our last meeting. Critical incidents are events that occur and result in actual or potential harm to the people we serve.

The incident management team is made up of employees from all departments and at all levels of the organization. On the team, members of management work side by side with Direct Support Professionals to assess solutions and further our responses to critical incidents that have occurred.

The goal of the incident management team is to assist agency personnel in learning from critical incidents that have occurred and developing system-wide solutions to prevent their future occurrence. We have found this process to be an essential tool for providing quick and lasting solutions to the critical incidents that can occur in the support and service of people with disabilities.
